===LETTER FROM JAPAN===
Writing from the lobby of my hostel here in Mt Fuji. Pretty badly drunk. I was playing Kings with some friends, new friends mainly, Australians and Belgians and another American. I lost, I think. If you pass out, that means you lose, right? Anyway, now, for some strange reason, I am awake. Japan is nice. They have all kinds of funny things in the convenience store.
