Heart - Boots Analogy

I think breaking in a pair of cowboy boots can be compared to finding a boyfriend. For arguments sake let's say that I have 5 pairs of boots. Each pair can only be worn one day per week, and on the weekend I wear only sandals (my girlfriends). Therefore, each pair of boots must be walked in as much as possible on their given day. Further, when one pair becomes more comfortable than the others, it is only natural to put the other four pairs in the back closet, and wear the comfy ones as often as possible. When the pair gets worn out, they are thrown away, and the closet is reopened so that another pair can be chosen. In this way, it is possible to have boots for any occasion. After throwing out a pair, a shopping spree is necessary to find a new pair, and the original five is restored.

Now, in breaking in a heart, there must come a point when it can no longer be broken. Like, it has been broken so many times, that it is tough, leather like, scarred, and it just simply will not break again.

This is officially the most nonsensical post I have ever written.

My friend Kate told me today: "Listen, honey, men are dick munches".--This from the woman who introduced me to the hot dog down a hallway dick analogy. I really do love her, that is for sure, and although my heart has been broken, it is full of love.
