Today I used Find and Replace to replace the word "bank" with the word "seller", per my boss. Then I spent the next hour and a half reading the entire 122 page document and changing all of the "sellerrupt" and "sellerruptcy" back to the correct words.

This happened to me also! I was editing an email to my grandmother, and at the last minute I replaced all the instances of the word "beer" with the word "soda". Send. But just as in your case, I was left with all kinds of problems, not least of which were "soda gut" and "soda bong." But hey here eyesight isn't too good anyway.
